In Door Inside, Charlotte Koenka explores the life of her friend, cellist Brendan J. Walsh.

What starts as a simple conversation:  “How much of your ego are you willing to let go?” grows into a profound short documentary about the nature of friendship.

Through intimate, unguarded moments, Koenka shares a personal narrative about shifting family identities and the evolving relationship between filmmaker and subject.

Set to the haunting melodies of Walsh’s cello, Door Inside offers a raw glimpse into the soul of an artist, revealing the beauty and pain of transformation.
